The
Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery celebrates the coming of Spring with an
exhibition of works instinct with the season’s joys.
The show features Jon
Doran’s delicate but fractured still-lifes, and Roy Wright’s
gloriously detailed charcoal drawings, Barbara Hoogeweegen’s
flower-bedecked portraits, and Emma Howarth’s finely-wrought scenes
from the natural world, Hepzibah Swinford’s naïf bouquet
paintings, and a series of Patricia Cain’s mixed-media images of
trees.
Alongside these works
will be Lars Reiffers‘ hyperreal, brilliant blossums and John
Holcomb’s boldly colourful flowers.
