Dear Friends of Art, I am pleased to warmly invite you to my art exhibition “un voyage au coeur de la peinture.” 

The exhibition features a selection of my latest works. 

 “Recurring themes in Lars Reiffers’ paintings include still life, nature, museum spaces, and historical paintings. In his sometimes large-scale works, he explores the boundaries of painting and reinterprets the medium: seemingly Old Master-like elements are juxtaposed with modern themes and content. In his painting ‘Roleplay’ (2024), for example, Reiffers confronts a deliberately staged museum visitor with the great figures of (art) history. In addition to the museum scenes, you can look forward to opulent floral compositions. These are metaphors for the human life cycle, as they refer to the temporality and transience of our ability to perceive. The artist will be present on the day of the vernissage.”
